Danny Dyer, Sean Bean, Sarah Millican, John Thomson and Stephen Fry are among celebrities who've joined forces to create an album of spoken word and music for an official World War One centenary album, to be released July 14 through Decca Records.
Dyer reads In Memoriam by Ewart Alan Mackintosh, Millican reads Amy Lowell's sonnet From One Who Stays, and Fry reads In Flanders Fields by John McCrae, while the cast of War Horse contribute the track Only Remembered. Proceeds from the sale of the album will go to The Royal British Legion and The Victoria Cross Trust.
